Shopping The English Farmhouse

We teamed up with Nathan Homes & The Priority Group at Berkshire Hathaway Ambassador Home Services to help stage this new construction home in Elkhorn, Nebraska!  With its warm, distressed Hallmark flooring and gorgeous 11-12' ceilings -- how could we say no?!?

Right off the entry, the office features gorgeous white, board & battens wall with a fun, rustic/modern print.  We selected these versatile, leather club chairs -- the arms have so much personality and it's an extremely comfortable sit.

I love that Nathan Homes designed an alternative loft space for families upstairs in this 1.5 story home. The hanging beds are functional yet playful -- perfect for overnight guests or a quiet reading nook.  We layered a Moroccan rug to break up the carpet.

For the dining area -- we wanted to pick a rug that was casual, hide stains, and feel great underfoot.  This flat, hand-woven wool rug is one of our favorites -- striking without too much pattern.  The striking contemporary prints are by Megan McCleay -- an Omaha artist that we love to feature in our shop and our projects.

You know we love a good hand-knotted vintage Turkish runner in the kitchen -- this extra skinny runner is perfect for navigating the sliding kitchen ladder.  The muted colors and subtle pattern keep it calm and inviting.

In an open concept space, it's important that all the rugs coordinate without being "matchy-matchy".  Our go-to rugs are natural fiber -- we loved the repeating pattern of this hand-woven wool rug.  A breeze to vacuum! The walnut live-edge end table is by a local furniture designer, Ben Petersen of BENCH.  We love incorporating local talent into the design!

This is actually one of my favorite spots in the house -- the master bath is to die for!  The heated cement tile floors, contrast custom cabinetry -- gold faucets....it's EVERYTHING!!

A pair of original Megan McCleay prints hang in the master bedroom.  I love pieces that look good far away as well as up close!

We placed our go-to settee -- The Cove Sofa by Cisco Brothers & John Derian -- in the master bedroom for a comfortable and chic place to rest.
